Doing It For The Babies

The Trump administration may offer women incentives to have babies in order to close the widening birth gap. One such incentive would offer American mothers a $5,000 “baby bonus” for every child born.

Several Eastern countries have incentives like this that actually have worked to encourage population growth. In China, couples are offered money to marry younger. Russia offers mothers sizable cash payments if birthing mothers are younger than 27 years old which can be used to buy a home, childcare or medical expenses. In Hungary, birthing mothers under 30 years old are exempt from personal income tax for the rest of their lives.

According to The New York Times, the Trump administration is also considering “funding programs that educate women on their menstrual cycles — in part so they can better understand when they are ovulating and able to conceive.”

I think AOC may have fainted when she read that.

These aren’t bad ideas but we can’t know for sure where they would go considering the source for the New York Times is “four people who have been part of the meetings who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations.”

New Peace Plan for Gaza

Peace mediators from Egypt and Qatar have put forward a “truce lasting between five and seven years” for Israel and Palestine.

According to the BBC, the plan involves “the release of all Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, a formal end to the war, and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.”

Why are they “hostages” when they are Israeli and “prisoners” if they are Palestinian? Wrong. They are all hostages, innocent civilians held by governments that are hostile to them.

Officials from Gaza are heading to Cairo for negotiations but Israel has not responded to the proposal. Instead, it launched air strikes in Gaza, killing at least 26 people and injuring 60 more. They are also reportedly deploying bulldozers to the wreckage.

WEF Shakeup

Is Klaus Schwab a scoundrel? He is but did he also scam the World Economic Forum?

Schwab resigned as the head of the WEF and now the organization reports that he is under investigation due to a “new whistleblower letter alleged financial and ethical misconduct by the longtime leader and his wife.” He refuted the allegations but he was ousted before he could make his case.

Some of the allegations include instructing aids to withdraw cash from WEF funds so that he could pay masseuses. Or that they would schedule WEF meetings in fancy places so that they could take trips.

Well wait…those things could be business expenses. Companies pay for massages for their executives all the time as part of their wellness packages. And if you want to have a business meeting in a fancy place, you’re free to do that as long as you really do hold those meetings when you go. We’re no fan of Klaus Schwab but why is the WEF suddenly throwing him overboard?

Ukraine’s Peace Deal

The U.S. special envoy, Steve Witkoff, will head to Russia this week to meet with President Vladimir Putin.

The U.S. has presented a framework for peace negotiations with Ukraine. It would include recognizing Crimea as part of Russia. Which it is.

Ukrainian President Zelensky said that Ukraine will not recognize Crimea as Russian.

“Ukraine will not legally recognize the occupation of Crimea,” Zelensky said at a press conference on Tuesday. “There’s nothing to talk about here. This is against our constitution.”

As if it matters. It has been 11 years since Crimea has been a part of Russia, no matter how the Ukrainian government feels about it.

The deal could also lead to the U.S. lifting sanctions on Russia and include a ceasefire while the details are negotiated.

Meanwhile, Europe is pretending that it could go to war with Russia with what they call a “Pan-Nordic Army.” What they mean is that any of of these countries would lose a war with Russia but maybe, just maybe, if they stick together, they could die slower.

And The Oscar Goes To

The Academy Awards launched a new rule for members who vote for Oscar winners. The rule is: You have to watch the movies to be eligible to vote for winners.

THEY WEREN’T DOING THAT BEFORE!? How can that be a NEW rule? What were votes based on before before?

It turns out, before academy voters were “encouraged” to watch the nominated films but now they have to. The Academy doesn’t say how they’ll verify that they did.

Anonymous ballots have been recently published with voters admitting that they didn’t watch some films. So prior to this change, what is an Oscar worth knowing that votes were not based on the actual work? What a charade.

9/11

The 9/11 Commission was a scam. We should all agree on that by now. Dare we hope for another one based on legitimate questions?

That is what Republican Senator Ron Johnson has suggested. He wants new congressional hearings to look into unanswered questions such as: How did Building 7 come down?

“Structural Engineers say that thing didn’t come down in any other way than controlled demolition. Molten steel. Destruction of evidence. We want answers. What really happened on 9/11? It’s being covered up by our government,” Senator Johnson said. He claims that the government has destroyed evidence related to this.

Building 7 fell seven hours after the Twin Towers fell. The government explanation was that it was caused by fires from debris but architects and engineers don’t buy that.

There is an appetite for government disclosure right now. Should the U.S. government do this? Do we have any confidence that if they did, they would give it to us straight?

China Tests Hydrogen Bomb

Chinese researchers have reportedly “successfully detonated a hydrogen-based explosive device in a controlled field test, triggering devastating chemical chain reactions without using any nuclear materials.”

Translation: China can make a bomb that is not nuclear but still creates a fireball that exceeds 1,000°C for over two seconds. That is 15 times longer than a comparable TNT explosion. They called it a “sustained inferno.”

The weapon sounds terrifying but maybe a little less terrifying because it does not produce nuclear radiation or fallout.

Why would anyone want this? Reportedly, “the researchers looked at the weapon’s other potential military applications, such as using it to cover a large area with intense heat and focusing its power on high-value targets to destroy them”

It’s a targeted and terrifying bomb. China has a “no first use” policy about nuclear weapons. Does this still count since it’s not nuclear?

Russia and Iran

As the U.S. moves forward with a nuclear peace treaty with Iran, Russia has also solidified its relationship with Iran. Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly “ratified parliamentary approval of a crucial treaty with Tehran.”

Translation: These two are allies and a war with Iran would likely mean a war with Russia too.

The new commitment solidifies the two countries in areas such as national security, nuclear energy and “joint resistance against unilateral sanctions.” Both countries have faced grueling international sanctions, Iran based on Obama-era lies about a nuclear weapons program.

You may have noticed that the pro-war with Iran rhetoric online is reaching a crescendo as the Trump administration moves closer to a deal that would prevent such a war. Could this be the first lie-based war that is thwarted because the Internet has allowed us to see through it!?

Ozempic Feet

You’ve heard of Ozempic face and Ozempic butt, right? It’s when you take the weight loss drug and everything looks saggy and dehydrated. But you’re thin!

Now there is Ozempic feet. Doctors say that rapid weight loss and dehydration can cause Ozempic patients to have saggy and old looking feet.

Recall that Ozempic is supposed to treat Type 2 diabetes and heart disease but it is a lifelong drug with no indication of ever being able to go off of it. It is also known to cause blindnessbone thinningpermanent diarrheastomach paralysis and more.

WHO Pandemic Treaty

The World Health Organization says that it has finalized the Pandemic Treaty that it has been working on for three years.

This is the document that they tried to get passed last year but too many countries opposed it. The United States has withdrawn from the organization, dumping cold water on the idea.

The original proposal was a binding agreement that gave the WHO the power to implement lockdowns, vaccine requirements, and redistribute all goods and food production on the WHO’s own assessment of “pandemic risks.” It was an obvious usurping of national sovereignty.

The new proposal “affirms the sovereignty of countries to address public health matters within their borders, and provides that nothing in the draft agreement shall be interpreted as providing WHO any authority to direct, order, alter or prescribe national laws or policies, or mandate States to take specific actions, such as ban or accept travellers, impose vaccination mandates or therapeutic or diagnostic measures or implement lockdowns.”

Or so they say. The actual proposal has yet to be published. If this is true, it is a major backing down.

More Signal War Chat

The New York Times has a bombshell report about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. It claims that not only did he participate in the Signal chat with plans to bomb Yemen, he had a separate Signal group where he shared those details with “his wife, brother and personal lawyer” and “about a dozen other people”

The report is “according to four people with knowledge of the chat” but The Guardian claims to have also “independently confirmed the existence of Hegseth’s own private group chat.”

The chat reportedly contained flight schedules for the aircraft that would strike the Houthis, the same information that was accidentally shared with The Atlantic reporter Jeffrey Goldberg. Two senior advisers in the group reportedly included Dan Caldwell and Darin Selnick. Both men were put on leave last week after being accused of leaking unauthorized information.

Would he do this? His lawyer and wife, a former Fox News producer, should know better than to have this on their phones. It would seem that all involved would know better so is this true or is there a story behind the story? For instance, he has been against strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Could this be related?

Letitia James Is In Deep Doodoo

The irony. New York Attorney General Letitia James prosecuted President Trump for inflating the value of his real estate for bank loans but deflating it for tax purposes. Now she stands accused of doing that very thing.

She has been referred to the Justice Department for a criminal investigation.

James bought a home in Virginia in 2023, while she was still serving as the New York Attorney General. There is nothing wrong with that except that she listed the Virginia home as her primary residence. Primary homes qualify for lower mortgage rates and lying on a mortgage application is a crime.

The neighbors of that Virginia home say that they’ve rarely seen her.

James also allegedly purchased other homes with her father as a co-signer but listed him as her husband. She’s never been married to her father as far as we can tell.

If James is prosecuted, she would be backed into a corner. She can admit that she committed mortgage fraud or she can insist that the Virginia home IS a primary resident which means that she violated her requirement as Attorney General to live in the state of New York.

The Justice Department has not prosecuted this yet and not commented on if they will.

Dear Donald Trump…

According to reports, France helped Ukrainian President Zelensky write an apology letter to President Trump in order to mend fences.

While the European Union talks tough about leading the war efforts in Ukraine, they secretly know that they can’t. Diplomats in France, Germany and the U.K. have reportedly “sweated over how to try and repair the badly damaged relationship between Trump and Zelensky.

The White House confirmed that it received such a letter and have been continuing to work towards peace. White House envoy Steve Witkoff said this week that a peace deal with Ukraine was on “the verge of a breakthrough. Leaders in Qatar have also expressed interest in hosting peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.

U.S. Rejects Israel’s War Plan

President Trump has declined Israel’s plan to bomb Iran, according to The New York Times.

Israel has been planning an attack on Iran for months and trying to coax the U.S. into going along with it but the New York Times reports match Redacted’s own intel. There is an alleged divide amongst the Trump administration between those who want a war with Iran and those that don’t. Those that don’t, according to the Times include President Trump himself as well as Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff; Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth; Tulsi Gabbard, director of national intelligence; and Vice President JD Vance.

“The debate highlighted fault lines between historically hawkish American cabinet officials and other aides more skeptical that a military assault on Iran could destroy the country’s nuclear ambitions and avoid a larger war. It resulted in a rough consensus, for now, against military action, with Iran signaling a willingness to negotiate.”

The Times reports that Israel was all but convinced that the U.S. would “sign off” on its plans to attack Iran “making the United States a central part of the attack itself” but President Trump insists on diplomacy over war for now.

The second round of talks are scheduled for this upcoming weekend and we should all pray that they result in peace.

The U.S. has also reportedly notified Israel that it plans to withdraw some troops from Syria where the U.S. is currently illegally occupying territory.

Sex is Real

The Supreme Court in the United Kingdom ruled that men cannot legally be women and also men cannot get pregnant.

The court unanimously ruled that the terms “woman” and “sex” in the 2010 Equality Act referred to biological sex, not acquired gender. Unanimously!

After a years-long legal battle, it turns out that the courts really do know what a woman is. Tory Leader Kemi Badenoch said the ruling meant that the “era of Keir Starmer telling us women can have penises has come to an end.” It will also have wide-reaching implications for maintaining single‑sex spaces for women such as sports, bathrooms, shelters, prisons and more.

JK Rowling, who is probably the most famous critic of gender ideology, said this about it in X: “The fact that so many UK trans activists are shrieking about injustice says it all. You never had the rights you claim you’ve now lost; you had demands. Your sense of entitlement grew unchecked because cowards and idiots bowed down to your campaign of intimidation.”

Autism on the Rise

new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that autism is up 16.1% since the last time they checked.

The new report shows that 1 in 31 children have autism.

Could it be because it is more broadly diagnosed? Possibly but why would it vary so much by region?

U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said this in a statement: “The autism epidemic is running rampant. One in 31 American children born in 2014 are disabled by autism. That’s up significantly from two years earlier and nearly five times higher than when the CDC first started running autism surveys in children born in 1992, opens in a new tab. Prevalence for boys is an astounding 1 in 20 and in California it’s 1 in 12.5.”

This clearly calls for more research and Secretary Kennedy said this: “Autism is preventable and it is unforgivable that we have not yet identified the underlying causes. We should have had these answers 20 years ago.”

Zelensky Extends His Presidency

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky gave himself a three-month extension of his own presidency by extending martial law for another three months.

Ukraine was due for presidential elections last year but President Zelensky canceled them and has said many times that the Ukrainian people don’t want to go to the polls. They like him right where he is. If only there was a way to know that for sure….

Ukrainian media had been reporting that Zelensky would not extend his regime but, alas, he did. And his advisors say that elections will not be held until at least six months after martial law ends.

Zelensky also said on Tuesday that the war with Russia has to end “diplomatically” because Ukraine lacks the military might to beat Russia but reiterated that Ukraine will never acknowledge the territory that now belongs to Russia as Russian. Not that it would even matter if he did.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has “simplified” the process of applying to fight for Ukraine as a foreign mercenary. The new process authorizes officials to “arrange and pay for transportation, food, and accommodation.” Since Ukraine cannot enforce military conscription, they’ll pay for your food and travel if you want to volunteer. WHO would do that?

Joe Biden Returns

Former President Biden made his first public appearance since he left office and, besides farting loudly, he droned on and on about the Trump administration’s threats to Social Security.

He talked about how the Social Security website is down and people are freaking out. That happened once weeks ago. He joked about 300-year-old Social Security recipients and said that “by the time we left office, we had improved every single line of customer service from apply for disability to filing an appeal to reporting fraud.”

As someone whose tax return was filed on time but marked late, that was…not my experience during the end of the Biden administration but who is going to challenge him?

The former President made headlines by reminiscing about watching “colored” children denied public school in Delaware when he was a child. He was using the terms he would have used in that time. Is it the worst thing for an elderly man to say? Come on, man!

Iran Nuclear Deal

The U.S. may insist that Iran “eliminate its nuclear enrichment” program in the next round of negotiations this weekend.

Iran has said that it enriches uranium for nuclear power plants but nuclear power plants only require uranium to be enriched to 3-5%. Iran has admitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency that it enriches uranium to 20-60%.

A nuclear weapon requires uranium enriched to 90%.

So why do they enrich uranium to that 20-60%? There are uses for “low-enriched uranium” such as naval propulsion submarines, medical isotope production for cancer diagnostics and treatment, etc.

Could the Trump administration be comfortable with this? If they aren’t, would Iran give it all up?

The U.S. envoy Steve Witcoff said this about it: “A deal with Iran will only be completed if it is a Trump deal. Any final arrangement must set a framework for peace, stability, and prosperity in the Middle East — meaning that Iran must stop and eliminate its nuclear enrichment and weaponization program.”
