Abusive Relationships Happen in Business - Here's How to Escape

Par : Tom Bilyeu

💾

Being in a business where someone else controls your formula or IP? That’s like being in a toxic relationship—it’s abusive, plain and simple.

It’s not about communication; it’s about control. And if they’re holding the keys to your success, you’re not building a business—you’re just marketing for theirs.

Here’s the fix:
1. Own your unique value—don’t trade it away.

2. Protect your IP with airtight agreements.

3. Prioritize independence over toxic partnerships.

Don’t let anyone hold your future hostage.

Ai Should Never Lie - But Hallucination might be GOOD

Par : Tom Bilyeu

💾

AI is polarizing, and I get it. On one hand, it’s pushing boundaries, creating opportunities we’ve never imagined. On the other, people are scared—it’s accused of lying, manipulating, and even threatening the younger generation.

Let’s clear this up: AI should never lie. Truth and safety must be its foundation. That said, AI “hallucinating”—where it invents information—can be tamed and even leveraged. If we train AI to be relentlessly truth-seeking, it could unlock levels of creativity and problem-solving beyond what humans are capable of.

The future of AI will depend on how we shape it. Will we tame it into a tool for good or let it spiral into chaos? It’s a choice we must make wisely.

Where do you stand on AI? Are you scared, excited, or a little bit of both? Let’s discuss. 👇

Why Smart Men Do Dumb Things for Attractive Women

Even Jeff Bezos isn’t immune to the power of attraction. The man sent that photo. Why? Because when emotions take over, even the smartest people make dumb decisions.

I get it. Attraction hijacks logic. If I weren’t married, I’d probably be a hot mess too. 😂
The key? Recognize your triggers and take back control.

From Audience to Community: It’s NOT About Me - It’s About Us!

Par : Tom Bilyeu
12 janvier 2025 à 13:00

💾

For years, I treated my YouTube audience like an audience—people watching from the sidelines. And it worked! It built a multi-million dollar business and helped me share my mission with the world.

But recently, I had a shift in perspective. I realized that treating this platform like a community—a group of people I’m part of, not just speaking to—creates something far more powerful.

When I hit a million subs, I stopped reading comments because they were filled with noise: jokes about my ears or endless critiques. But now, I’m back in the comments, engaging, responding, and listening. Why? Because this isn’t just about me. A community thrives on dialogue, shared ideas, and collective energy. I don’t want anyone in this space to just sit back and take what I give them—I want you to challenge, question, and contribute.

This shift from audience to community isn’t just about YouTube—it’s about life. Building something meaningful means staying connected, staying engaged, and creating a space where people feel seen and heard.

Are you building a community in your life? Whether it’s online or offline, tell me what “community” means to you below. 👇

TikTok Ban: The Reality Behind the January 18th Deadline

Par : Tom Bilyeu

💾

January 18th, 2025: The official date TikTok gets banned in the U.S.

This is a tough moment for creators. I get it—if YouTube disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn’t be thrilled. But here’s the reality: this isn’t about free speech. The U.S. has made it clear—TikTok can stay if it’s sold to an American owner. This is about preventing sensitive data from funneling back to China.

If we’re being honest, the world is either already in a Cold War or racing toward one. And while China may not be an innovation powerhouse compared to the U.S., they excel at being “fast followers”—taking what we’ve done and making it more efficient. TikTok’s data could accelerate that process in ways most people don’t consider.

So, what’s next? For creators, it’s time to pivot, diversify, and build a presence on platforms you control. This isn’t the end—it’s just another challenge to overcome.

What’s your take? Are you prepared to adapt if TikTok disappears? Let’s discuss in the comments. 👇

Comfort is the enemy of greatness.

If you want to achieve something extraordinary, you must be ready to make sacrifices. It’s not easy—far from it. But here’s the hard truth: your goals demand a price. And if you’re not willing to pay it, you’ll stay stuck where you are.

Who you are today doesn’t matter. What matters is who you want to become and how hard you’re willing to fight to get there. Success isn’t reserved for the lucky; it’s built by those who are willing to endure discomfort, push through pain, and never back down from the grind.

So, ask yourself: Are you willing to give up comfort for the life you truly want?

Your Rule For 2025: Never Stand Still

Par : Tom Bilyeu
8 janvier 2025 à 12:17

💾

Here’s the golden rule: Never. Stand. Still.

Failure? It’s not the end. It’s data. It’s information. Every misstep teaches you what to do better next time. But the one thing that guarantees you’ll fail forever? Standing still.

If you’re stuck on a big decision, give yourself three days to think it through. After that, just pick something and move forward—guess if you have to. Draw options out of a hat if it comes to that. Because here’s the truth: action creates clarity.

Failure is the most information-rich data stream on Earth. It’s how you learn, adjust, and grow.

Standing still? That’s the only real mistake. And sadly, it’s the one most people make.

So, what are you hesitating on right now? Make the call, take the leap, and move forward.

Why Most People Fail: The Fragile Truth About Self-Esteem

Par : Tom Bilyeu
6 janvier 2025 à 14:00

💾

Why don’t more people succeed? Simple: most people quit.

And most people quit because they build their self-esteem around being better, faster, or smarter than others.

But here’s the truth—there will always be someone better than you at something.

That’s why I built my self-esteem around learning.

Failure isn’t a reflection of your worth; it’s the single most information-rich data stream on the planet.
I’ll be honest—one of my superpowers is that I can tolerate embarrassment longer than most people.

People have laughed at my failures, pointed out my mistakes, and doubted my potential.

But in those moments, I stayed focused.

I knew every mistake was teaching me the skills I needed to keep pushing forward.

The key to success? Shift your self-esteem from “being great” to “being a great learner.”
If you’re stuck on the sidelines because you’re afraid to fail, here’s your wake-up call: Fail fast. Learn faster. And then go crush it.

What’s one failure that taught you the most?

Should You Let Your Kids Use AI?

Should kids use AI like ChatGPT? Yes—with guidance.

AI can be a PhD-level tutor, shaping your child’s thinking in line with your values.
But left unchecked, it can create problems.

Here’s the reality: someone’s AI will influence your kids.
Make sure it’s working for them, not against them.
Be intentional, and the possibilities are endless.

What do you think? Should kids have access to AI, and how can parents manage it wisely?
